APRONS (DAY 3)

We made the aprons, this is used to ensure that any water from rain goes down the roof and down the apron to ensure that no water runs onto the house to avoid bubbling in the plaster, mouldi and water entering the brick work.they were 300 mm in length and 75 mm in height. We first cleared the ground around the the house then made the markings around the house for the dimensions of the apron after that we backifilled sand rocked it and compacted it then placed profile boards and poured the concrete of 32,5MPA. We used a concrete mixer and we used 100kg of cement to around 20 shovels of sand and 60 shovels of rocks and pored in then distributed evenly and smoothed then used a brush finish.
