On our first day we were assign to assist the plumber with plumbing . We assisted with cubing of the pipe work inside the house, installation of sink, toilet box and bath tub, unfortunately they were out of basins hence we did not do it. It was quite a pleasant experience to watch and actually get to be hands o in all the work. The plumbing pipework was done externally and when we queried the plumber explained that it is more cost efficient and makes it easy to repair. Most the components used were made out of plastic, and to our surprise the pipe used can accommodate both hot and cold water. After the lunch break we were shown the pipelines outside and how they join and flow with the drainage system. After this much exciting experience it opened my eyes of more aspects of the built environment and that to be a plumber one  need to be semi-skilled.
