SITE & SETTING OUT ,DUMPY LEVELS(DAY 2)
Today we did site and setting out it was much more beneficial doing it physically as compacted to just simply reading it from the textbook. We as with the 3,4,5, method. One thing was that the strip footing was exactly at the boundary and we aren't allowed to cast past the boundary therefore the strip footing had to be exactly on the edge of the boundary and so do the wall, which was allowed , was allowed by council since it is a government project. We weren’t very efficient with placing the fishing line but,we were quite accurate with our measurements and foundation which is the most important part of the building the house we set out for plot 35104.The governments minimum requirement for a house is 40*10 square meters but if it is a double story or less is allowed 20*20.
We also taught how to used a dumpy level to ensure that the ground that two points on the ground is level.
